Being someone who played the original Xbox port and the BFG Edition version in four player co-op split screen, Doom is an excellent party game in a room full of friends. I can't code at all to save my life so it would be amazing to see if someone picks this project back up seeing as the download comes with the source code, tidied it up a whole bunch, add support for 3 to 4 players, allow for all control inputs to be rebound and ported it to to GZDoom and Zandronum because something like this would be fantastic. I've been pining for splitscreen on PC since the other source ports that support the feature refuse to work for me whatsoever but this thing somehow managed to actually launch and run decently well thus I wanted to spread the word to those who don't know of its existence. Hopefully you can get this fixed, because everything you see on the screen is gpu related, and if your drivers arent installed properly or not at all, you can have problems. By default, GZDoom should run in full screen using your desktop screen resolution. Because I got it running with minimal effort on my Windows 8 desktop but my 64-bit Windows 10 laptop can barely even get it working. My laptop can play games just fine, and I have gotten GZDoom to run before with the help of ZDL. In other words, it ain't working, at least not coherently. I tried putting it in full screen but that just messed up my computer's resolution. When I try interacting with the game, it turns into a yellow lightshow and the menu options keep flickering to where I can't really see them. What ends up happening is that the game occupies a very small window and it starts flickering. Its MENUDEF name is VideoModeMenu and it can be summoned with the menuvideo console command.
